What you'll need

  • Sheets of adhesive craft foam in various colors
  • Pencil
  • Scissors
  • Hole punch
  • Key chain

How to make it

  1. Have your child draw her initial on the back of a piece of craft foam (ours is 2 1/2 by 2 1/2 inches). Cut it out and punch a hole near the top.

  2. Use this as a template, paper side up, to trace 2 more letters on the back of the craft foam. Be sure to mark the hole as well. Flip the template so that it's adhesive side down and trace a fourth.

  3. Cut out all the letters and punch out the holes.

  4. Remove the backing from the letters, stick them together, and add a key chain.
