T-shirt Transformation

Whether you want to jazz up an inexpensive shirt or cover up a stain, these four easy-to-make appliqué designs have personality plus.

What you'll need

  • Appliqué templates for trees, bike
  • Appliqué templates for guitar, shark
  • Pencil or chalk
  • Fabric
  • Fusible fabric webbing (we used Steam-A-Seam brand)
  • Scissors

How to make it

  1. T-shirt Transformation - Step 1

    Start by downloading one of our templates (for trees a bike, a guitar, or a shark).

  2. T-shirt Transformation - Step 2

    Trace the template onto both a piece of fabric and a sheet of fusible fabric webbing, then cut them out.

  3. T-shirt Transformation - Step 3

    Follow the webbing package's instructions to adhere the appliqué to your shirt.
