Henry C., age 6, from Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, has a cute custom feature in his room: an alligator glued to his dimmer switch. Besides being fun, the switch serves another purpose, according to Henry's mom. "It helps all of us remember to turn off the lights when we leave the room."

How to make it

  1. Use epoxy (a parent's job) to attach a plastic toy alligator to the dimmer switch.

  2. Let dry.
