During Houston's annual Art Car Parade, a caravan of crazy-looking vehicles decked out in wacky ways tour the streets of the city. Kids can create a wacky version of the event with this craft. For inspiration, check out some of the Art Car Parade photos.

What you'll need

  • Toy cars
  • Small objects, such as beads, feathers, sequins, feathers, googly eyes, plastic animals, sand, and buttons

How to make it

  1. Using tacky glue, attach small objects such
as beads, feathers, googly eyes, plastic
animals, sand, sequins, and buttons to their toy cars.

  2. Let the glue dry completely, then begin the mini artmobile parade.
