You know what they say about a bird in the hand. Here is a fun way to make a bird to put on your hand.

What you'll need

  • Glove finger
  • Buttons
  • Cardboard
  • Colorful feathers
  • Glue
  • Crayons
  • Colored Markers

How to make it

  1. Cut a finger off of a colorful glove.

  2. Glue two buttons on for eyes.

  3. Cut a diamond shape out of cardboard for the beak and color it with crayons or markers.

  4. Fold the diamond in half into shape with an open beak and then attach it with glue.

  5. Pierce 3 colorful feathers through the glove finger base. Add a dab of glue inside and out to hold them in place.
