Felt Flower Pins
Total Time 1 to 2 hours Ages tween

These colorful corsages bloom year-round. Want a few more rosy design ideas? Leaf through a seed catalog or wildflower field guide for inspiration.

What you'll need

  • Stiff felt (available at craft stores; for a wide selection of colors, check out Magic Cabin)
  • Disappearing fabric marker (optional)
  • Craft glue
  • Pin backs
  • Decorations, such as seed beads and buttons (optional)

How to make it

  1. For each pin, use scissors to cut two to four flowery shapes from the felt, choosing designs and colors that layer nicely. (Tip: use a disappearing fabric marker to sketch the shapes first.)

  2. Stack and glue together the felt pieces, then glue the corsage to its pin. For extra flair, embellish your pin with beads or a button.
