Recycle a deck of old cards into these ace valentines. Sheila Mobley of Sarasota, Florida, made one for daughter Nicole using a royal face card since, as Sheila puts it, "She is the queen around here!" But you can use any playing cards from the heart suit.
What you'll need
- Heart-suit cards from an old playing deck
- Photograph of your child
- Scissors
- Glue stick
- Card stock
- Permanent marker
How to make it
Have your child trim the face from a photograph of herself and use a glue stick to attach it over a card's face or onto a card stock heart on a number card. Finish with a permanent marker message.
