Ghost Shadow Halloween Decoration
Total Time 1 hour Ages all-ages

If you want to set a spooky mood for your Halloween party, try turning down the lights and casting images of larger-than-life ghosts on your wall.

What you'll need

  • Black construction paper
  • Clear plastic report cover
  • Black permanent marker
  • Duct tape
  • Wooden paint stirrer
  • Flashlight

How to make it

  1. Cut a ghost shape out of the center of the construction paper sheet (download the template), then slip the sheet into the report cover.

  2. Frightful Sights - Step 2

Draw the ghost's eyes and mouth directly on the plastic. Now tape the side of the cover to the paint stirrer. In a dark room, hold the sheet in front of a lit flashlight, adjusting the distance between them as needed to project the ghostly image onto a bare wall.
