Glove Rings
Total Time 1 hour Ages all-ages

Turn single gloves into stretchy rings you can wear over a still-intact pair.

What you'll need

  • Finger of a glove
  • Sewing needle
  • Bead
  • Sequins
Helpful Tip:

The fancy sequins shown here can be found in the jewelry section of many craft stores. Ours are the Jewelry Essentials brand; a 3-ounce package costs about $4.

How to make it

  1. Glove Rings - Step 1

For each ring, cut a one-inch section from the fi nger of a glove with a thin, tight knit. Stretch the ring so that the edges roll inside, forming a tube.

  2. Bring a threaded sewing needle through the inside of the ring to the outside. Thread a few sequins onto the needle and top the stack with a bead.

  3. Pass the needle down through the stack of sequins and the ring, as shown. Knot the thread to secure.
