Gumdrop Christmas Tree DIY

Here is a (literally) sweet holiday decoration for your holiday table! And it's so easy to make!

There are a few people in our home who like to pick at foods on the holiday table, before everything is ready. (I may or may not be one of them.)

This year, I am ready! If any gumdrops disappear, I'll have a few extra toothpick gumdrops in reserve, to fill in any suddenly-empty spots! Happy holidays!

What you'll need

  • Styrofoam cone (check your local craft store)
  • Toothpicks
  • Gumdrops, marshmallows, or other soft candies

How to make it

  1. Gather an assortment of colored gumdrops, marshmallows, or other soft candies, which fit your holiday color scheme.

  2. Insert the end of the toothpicks into the candies.

  3. Stick the toothpicks into the cone. Arrange the colors and types of candies however you like -- stripes, spirals, lots of colors, or just a few.

  4. Display and enjoy! Happy holidays!
