Greet trick-or-treaters with a ghoulishly great Halloween door craft made from a few items you probably already have around the house.
Draw a circle on a paper plate by outlining a glass.
Fill in the circle using a black marker. Now you have an eye. Repeat.
Cut 15-20 (depending on your door size) 12" strips of crepe paper.
Measure the width of your door and lay a strip of duct tape that size on your work surface with the sticky side up. Now add your crepe paper strips.
Stick the "hair" on the door. You might place it closer to the middle of the door so little people can get the full effect of the funny monster.
Stick eyes on the door with duct tape. Then add a few strips of tape for eyebrows. Make a mouth with one long strip and 4 small ones.
Rip off small pieces of crepe paper, crinkle them and glue to the plate until the entire plate is covered. This is a great activity for little ones!
Use tape to stick on googly eyes.
Cut 6 equal length pieces of chenille stems and tape them to the back of the plate. Now you have your spider.
Use strips of duct tape to make several octagons on the door to make the spider's web.
Attach the spider with more tape and you're finished!
