With this classic keepsake, at the end of the summer you'll have a sentimental — and sedimentary — time line of your travels.
What you'll need
- Large, lidded glass jar (we found ours at Target for about $6)
- Nature objects from summer trips
- Sticker tags
- Marker
How to make it
In the glass jar, layer your nature finds from trips to the lake, shore, or anywhere you've scooped up sand, shells, or stones. Using sticker tags, label each addition: Martha's Vineyard, Lake George, or even a favorite neighborhood park.
