Tucked in a backpack or locker, this personalized cache of supplies stored in a travel soap dish will ensure that your child is well prepared for life's little emergencies.
What you'll need
- Tube of 3-D fabric paint
- White sticky-back felt
- Craft glue
- Googly eyes with eyelids and lashes
- Mini pom-pom
- Permanent marker
- Travel soap dish
- Paper
How to make it
Using the tube of paint, draw a decorative bandage on the felt. Glue on the googly eyes and pom-pom nose, and marker on a mouth, as shown. When the paint and glue have dried, cut out the bandage and attach it to the soap dish cover.
Print your child's contact numbers on a piece of paper cut to fit inside the cover and glue it in place.
Finally, fill the box with items your child may need, such as a small bottle of hand sanitizer, an alcohol wipe, lotion, an eyeglass repair kit, dental floss, and a prepaid phone card.
