Gentlemen, you may start your creative engines. For all you racecar fans, here’s a wall treatment that puts the vroom in your room. A racetrack made with black tape goes on the wall to put you in the thick of the action, and you can even move the cars around on the track. And if you have a need for speed, the good news is that this wall art goes up in in a flash.
You can also create this wall art on a large canvas, so not only can you move the cars, you can move the racetrack.

Cut lengths of black masking tape and apply the tape to your wall to make a racetrack pattern. Make as many turns as you want by turning the tape in different directions. How your racetrack will look depends on how big your wall is, how much of it you want to cover, and how many turns you want to make. Just be sure to close the loop, or your racecars will hit a dead end! Black masking tape can be found in art and office supply stores.

The white lane markers are made from hook and loop fasteners like Velcro. Hook and loop fasteners have two parts that stick together: the hook part that is prickly, and the loop part that is fuzzy. Cut 2” x ½” pieces of the hook part. Peel off the protective backing and apply the pieces to the black tape, about 4 inches apart.

Cut 2” x 1” pieces of the fuzzy part, and apply them to the bottom of each miniature car.

Place the cars on top of any of the lane markers by pressing the hook and loop fasteners together.
