Here's a short list of books to which I refer for paper crafts, tricks and games. Some of the older ones are out of print, but available in libraries.
CREATING WITH PAPER: BASIC FORMS AND VARIATIONS by Pauline Johnson (Dover, 1986). This book has hundreds of crafts, including paper stars and flowers.
CREATIVE PAPER CRAFTS IN COLOR by Chester Jay Alkelma (Sterling, 1967). This classic features weaving, mosaics and more.
CREATIVE PAPER TOYS AND CRAFTS by Michael Grater (Dover, 1981).
A terrific resource with lots of ideas. It has an exceptional mobiles section.
NEW DIMENSIONS IN PAPER CRAFT by Sadami Yamada and Kiyotada Ito (Japan Publications Trading Company, 1969). A book full of ideas, from 5-minute simple to museum-quality complex.
PAPER PEOPLE by Michael Grater (Taplinger, 1969). An excellent source for ideas, from paper dolls to finger puppets.
