What you'll need

  • Platypus Designer Duct Tape
  • Scissors
  • Pineapple can
  • Small box
Helpful Tip:

Craft tester Nicole Blum offers this tip: "Here's an easy way to cut shapes from tape: Peel the tape off the roll and adhere it to parchment paper. For large shapes, cover the parchment with slightly overlapping strips of tape. Cut out the desired shape or shapes, then peel away the paper."

How to make it

  1. Platypus Designer Duct Tape - Step 1

To make this set of "wicker" organizers, we simply covered a pineapple can and a small box with the wicker-patterned tape. (See a great tape-cutting tip below.)

  2. Other fun ideas? Cover notebooks and folders with the wood or paisley patterns to create a natural (or naturally '70s) look, or use the tape to make a durable billfold.
