Prank Gift Box

You'll giggle and squirm when you give this gift that the recipient can't get open! Get ready to laugh together when you hand them a card to the gift that says "Happy April Fools' Day!"
What you'll need
- Small gift box with lid
- White craft glue
- Wrapping paper
- Ribbon or bow
- Marker
Small brown gift boxes like the one we used are available at craft supply stores for about $1.00.
If you don't have any wrapping paper, use aluminum foil or a paper lunch bag you have colored with markers.
Using pennies gives some weight, but be sure to line the box with cotton balls first so that the pennies don't rattle around in the box.
How to make it
Place something inside the box to give it some weight. Anything will do, 5 or 6 pennies surrounded by cotton balls will work well.
Glue the lid to the box and let dry.
Wrap the box in wrapping paper and add a bow or ribbon.
With some scrap paper or card stock, make a small card that says "Happy April Fools' Day!"
Give gift to a friend or family member. When they try to open it and can't, tell them you found the card for the gift and then hand them the card with the April Fools' message!
