It's a cinch to use sequins and spangles to transform an office-supply staple into a sleek, modern handbag.
What you'll need
- Poly envelope with Velcro closure (we purchased ours at Target)
- Hole punch
- Scissors
- Ribbon
- Embellishments, such as trim or appliqués
- Double-sided foam tape
How to make it
Open the poly envelope and punch a hole in each side, about 1 inch from the top.
Cut a length of ribbon long enough for a strap. Thread the ribbon through the holes and tie a knot at each end (inside the bag) to secure it.
Decorate the purse by attaching the embellishments with the tape.
