What you'll need

  • Scissors and pencil
  • Clean Styrofoam tray
  • Glue
  • Film canister, spool or cork
  • Ink pad
  • Art gum eraser
  • X-Acto knife
Helpful Tip:

For more detail, carve into an art gum eraser with an X-Acto knife (parents or teens only).

How to make it

  1. Star Stamps

    Cut the edges off the Styrofoam tray, then have your child draw a variety of stars on it with a pencil. Using scissors, she can cut out the stars.

  2. To make each stamp, glue one star to the end of a film canister, spool or cork, and let dry.

  3. Start stamping!
