Swim Goggles

Make these fun swim goggles and you can pretend that you are an Olympic swim champion coming into the final lap!
What you'll need
- 6” x 6” piece of craft foam
- 2 chenille stems
- Clear cellophane
- White craft glue
- Scissors
How to make it
Cut two oval or egg shapes from the craft foam.
Cut a slit in the center of each oval and insert the scissors to cut out the centers, forming the eye pieces.
Cut a 1 ½ inch piece off of one of the chenille stems.
Insert the ends of the short chenille piece into the end of each oval to create the nose piece, fold over.
Take the remaining chenille and insert one end of each into the other side of the ovals for the head band. Twist together the open ends of the chenille to attach together.
Use the oval center that you cut out as templates to cut ovals from cellophane. Cut the cellophane a little larger than the oval templates as they need to be bigger than the eye holes but not bigger than the eye pieces. Glue to the inside of the eye pieces. SAFETY NOTE: These swim goggles are for pretend and display purposes only. These goggles are not intended for use in a pool or as protective eyewear.
