What you'll need

  • Pumpkin
  • Silver spray paint
  • Craft knife
  • Cardboard
  • Scissors
  • Tempera or model paint
  • Paintbrushes
  • Craft wire
  • Hot glue gun
  • Alien toys

How to make it

  1. Cut off the top and hollow out the pumpkin.

  2. Spray paint the outside. Once dry, cut out a door and windows.

  3. Add details with tempera or model paints and craft wire.

  4. Lastly, measure and decorate a cardboard ring to fit around the pumpkin. Add a cardboard ramp complete with descending aliens (gumball machine treasures affixed with hot glue).
