Swiss artist Paul Klee once said, "Drawing is like taking a line for a walk."
Your child can put Klee's words into practice by using this continuous-drawing technique.
Place a piece of lightweight paper over a photograph or picture and have your child trace
the image without lifting his pencil. Or have him draw freehand, picking up the pencil only
when he's done. Use markers or watercolors to finish the masterpiece -- and don't worry about
staying inside the line!
