Sketch large butterfly wings and a body on heavy colored paper -- or download our 10- by 14-inch butterfly now.
Cut out the shapes and glue them onto a piece of poster board or heavy paper (ours is 16 by 19 inches).
Add details such as eyes and a smile with a marker or glued-on pieces of paper. On the big day, tape the butterfly to the wall at child's-eye level.
To play, supply your partygoers with color-coding dots and encourage them to add spots to the butterfly's body and wings.
