SUP? NM-U? TGIF! LOL!
There are a lot of things your kids want to say to their friends. New Text Bands from Hallmark let them connect face-to-face in 10 characters or less through a fist-bump or hand shake.
The adjustable bands are about the same size as a large wristwatch, and come in charcoal or purple to start with (once you have a starter kit, you can swap your basic band for a cool style band, like Pink Safari, Minnie Mouse or Darth Vader™ ).
Three buttons on the face make the texting happen. Press the middle button to start writing a message and press the left or right buttons to scroll through all the letters and symbols. Want to see what messages others have sent you? Just click on the button on the left side of the band– it can hold up to 24. Be careful though, turning it off will delete your saved messages.
Hallmark Text Bands can be a positive and fun experience for all. To encourage positive behavior, Hallmark created the “Text Band Oath,” and enlisted celebrities like Cody Simpson and Demi Lovato to lead groups of kids in the oath to emphasize the importance of positive communication and personal expression. A bad word filter also comes standard in each Text Band.
