Count Down to Christmas: Advent Calendar

How to make it

1. Print out the Advent Calendar template. Cut along the dotted line and glue or tape the bottom half of the tree to the top half.

2. Print and cut out the Advent Calendar Ornaments template and the Advent Calendar Activities template. (Parents should cut out the activities so the kids will be surprised as they open each date).

3. (See diagram in Christmas Advent Calendar template.) Fold the activity rectangles in half at the indicated point. On the front of each activity, paste or tape the appropriate ornament. Be sure to match the number on the ornament with the number on the activity. Next, paste or tape the entire card to the corresponding number on the Christmas tree.

4. Attach a dot sticker (found at local craft stores) to each rectangle to keep it closed until that day when your child will peel off the sticker and read the activity underneath. Have fun!
