How to make Snowman Marshmallow Cupcakes
What's your Take?

These marshmallow snowmen cupcakes are so cute! And they're really simple to make. I bet your kids would love to help (including with eating any left over candy). Delicious fun!

What you'll need

  • Cupcakes with white frosting
  • Regular marshmallows
  • Jumbo marshmallows
  • Chocolate sandwich cookies
  • Dark chocolate truffles or other small dark chocolate candies (e.g., Junior Mints, Rolos, etc.)
  • Black decorating gel
  • White icing
  • Shredded coconut
  • Pretzel sticks
  • Confetti sprinkles
  • Fruit roll
  • Orange taffy
Notes:

The only tricky part of making these marshmallow snowmen is keeping your snowman level. If your marshmallows aren't flat, parts can slide off before the icing firms up. So, choose marshmallows that are flat on their tops and bottoms. And when you trim the jumbo marshmallow, try to make them level.

How to make it

To make the hat, pull a chocolate sandwich cookie apart. Spread a dollop of icing on the top of one cookie and stick on the dark chocolate candy.

To make the carrot nose, take one orange taffy candy and cut tiny slivers.

To attach the nose, cut a small slit in the front of the marshmallow and push the nose in.

  5. To make the body, first trim about 1/4 of the jumbo marshmallow off the bottom.

Put a dab of the white icing on the back of three confetti dot sprinkles and attach for buttons.

  7. To add the arms, insert pretzel sticks into the sides of the body.

  8. To make the scarf, cut slices of fruit roll that are about 6 inches long and 1/4 inch wide.
