It has never been easy to serve vegetables to kids. Sometimes they love some veggies, sometimes they don't. And even though they say they don't like one, as mothers we shouldn't give up, serve them again and again and maybe by the 5th time the kids will love them, who knows!
A fun way to help the kids like more vegetables is by serving them in creative and fun ways. You might realize that all of sudden they start liking veggies when they said they didn't. For example, I served tomatoes to my son in one of these presentations and he didn't want them, but I mentioned that the tomato was the face of the person and otherwise the figure wouldn't have a face. Well, he end up eating it!
For the butterfly you'll need:
Use the bell pepper cut in thin slices to define the butterfly's wings, cut long slices of celery to make the body, use 2 blueberries for the eyes and fill half and half of the butterfly's wings with cherry tomatoes and broccoli.
Serve it with ranch sauce or a yogurt-based dipping sauce.
