Make Double Batch of Chocolate Butter Cream Icing Make Double Batch of Vanilla Buttercream Icing and divide into 3 parts. (Dye 1/3 black, 1/3 pink with Rose dye, and leave 1/3 white. (Icing can be make several days in advance to save time - will keep for weeks in air tight container).
Using Bear pan from Wilton bake cake according to instructions. Cool cake over night.
Set Bear upright on foil in ex-large cake pan or display board. Begin to ice bear starting with the diaper. Apply icing with spatula and smooth. Ice bear body with Chocolate Icing and star tip (18). When icing the bear paws insert rattle and ice paws together closing around rattle.
Ice Pink mouth area with star tip (18) leaving space for nose and lips. Ice ears and foot pads smooth with pink icing. Pipe in back icing to fill nose and lips. Add diaper pins at corner of diaper. Dye 1/2 coconut rose/pink and 1/2 blue. Sprinkle around bear to resemble baby blanket and cover heating cone tips."
