A do-ahead pasta dish to serve hot or at room temperature with sliced tomatoes in summer, sauteed broccoli in winter. (Makes a good side dish for grilled meat, too.)

What you'll need

  • 1/2 pound angel hair or other thin noodles
  • 1 tbsp. olive oil
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan
  • Pepper

How to make it

  1. Cook and drain the pasta. In a bowl, mix the olive oil, egg, cheese and pepper. Add the pasta to the egg mixture, transfer to an oiled pie plate and bake at 350 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes. Serve hot or at room temperature, cut in wedges. Makes 4 to 6 servings.
