Delicious on pork or fish, this is a great way to spice things up the next time you grill.

What you'll need

  • 3 tbsp. prepared Chinese mustard or spicy brown mustard
  • 3 tbsp. brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp. reduced-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 tsp. rice wine vinegar
  • 1 tsp. coarsely ground black pepper

How to make it

  1. In a small bowl, stir together all of the ingredients. Let stand at least 15 minutes or up to 3 hours at room temperature before using. Coat ham steaks or salmon before grilling, or paint on pork chops or ribs during the last 10 minutes of grilling time. Makes about 1/2 cup.
