Campfire Cones
What's your Take?
Prep Time 3 minutes Cook Time 5 minutes

There's nothing like a campfire to end a summer's night! My family and I love to go camping and this is my daughter's favorite treat -- next to roasting marshmallows that is! It's as simple as throwing your favorite goodies in an ice cream cone, wrapping it in foil, and placing it next to the fire. In a few minutes have a sticky and fun camping dessert.

What you'll need

  • waffle ice cream cones
  • mini marshmallows
  • chocolate chips
  • summer fruit such as berries or sliced peaches
  • salted pretzels
  • foil

How to make it

  1. Fill an ice cream cone with a few marshmallows, chocolate, fruit, and pretzels.

  2. Wrap the cones completely in foil and place next to a campfire for 5 minutes or until the marshmallows are melted. You can also place the wrapped cones on a grill heated to medium-high for 5 minutes.

  3. Carefully remove the foil and serve.
