What you'll need

  • 9x13 cake
  • 8x8 cake
  • loaf pan cake
  • 5 sugar ice cream cones
  • 5 cake ice cream cones
  • white chocolate chips
  • colored sugar
  • gumdrops
  • wafer cookies
  • candy rocks
  • frosting
  • spray frosting

How to make it

  1. Place the 8x8 cake on top of the 9x13. Cut the loaf cake in half and put it on top of the 8x8 cake. Frost with the color you want the castle to be.

  2. For the towers, dip the flat bottom cones in melted white chocolate chips. Let set up. Dip the pointed bottom cones in melted chips and then roll in colored sugar. Place the pointed bottom cone on top of the flat bottom cone and place around the castle. Pipe colored frosting around edges of cones and cake layers.

  3. Add gumdrops for decoration and wafer cookies for drawbridge and door. Use spray frosting to create a moat.
