What's your Take?

From the kitchen of T. Sambenedetto, Ventura, California

What you'll need

  • 1 16-oz. jar peanut butter (plain or creamy)
  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter, softened
  • 1 1-lb. box powdered sugar
  • 1 to 2 bags semi-sweet chocolate chips

How to make it

  1. Mix peanut butter, butter, and powdered sugar together in a large bowl.

  2. Once "dough" has formed, roll into little balls, about 1-inch wide. Have a cookie sheet lined with waxed paper ready by the stove.

  3. Melt chocolate chips in a double boiler (you can add a little shortening the help harden the chocolate). When chocolate is melted, dip the balls in and then place on waxed paper.

  4. Place in refrigerator until hardened. Eat and enjoy!
