Mix peanut butter, butter, and powdered sugar together in a large bowl.
Once "dough" has formed, roll into little balls, about 1-inch wide. Have a cookie sheet lined with waxed paper ready by the stove.
Melt chocolate chips in a double boiler (you can add a little shortening the help harden the chocolate). When chocolate is melted, dip the balls in and then place on waxed paper.
Place in refrigerator until hardened. Eat and enjoy!
