Here's a bold-tasting twist on pesto that incorporates classic Thai ingredients: sesame, lime, and, of course, cilantro. Our testers thought it was especially good with chicken and stir-fried tofu.
Combine everything but the water in a food processor.
Pulse for 15 seconds while adding 1 tablespoon of hot water. Scrape down the sides and repeat. Serve with chicken strips, tofu, crostini, tortilla chips, cucumber, celery, carrots, or tomatoes. Makes 3/4 cup.
