Cookie Kids Christmas Cookies
What's your Take?

Dress your kids in tie-dye T-shirts, blue jeans or striped miniskirts -- all made out of frosting. The foundation of this recipe is the versatile dough that can be customized to create chocolate, colored, striped, or marbleized cookies.

What you'll need

Helpful Tip:

Instead of rolling out your dough on a floured surface, roll it out between waxed paper. The cookies will stay moist because extra flour is not incorporated during the rolling process.

How to make it

  1. With the cookie cutter, cut out people from the rolled-out dough. Arrange them on a baking sheet and bend their hands or feet to give them personality. Bake as directed, when cooled, pipe on frosting clothes, features, hairdos, and shoes. Watch out - your kids may think they're too cute to eat.
