  • decorator bags (optional)
  • coupler (optional)
  • icing color of your choice (optional)
  • shell tip (optional)

How to make it

  1. Bake cake as directed on package. You will need 2 layers using your choice of pan (round or square). Cool cakes on wire rack. For icing, cream shortening, butter and vanilla. Gradually add powdered sugar beating at medium speed, and then milk. This should be at medium consistency. If it appears dry, you may add more water or milk. Ice 2 layer cake. Optional, if you would like a border or message on the cake, reserve about 3/4 c of icing and tint desired color. If you do not have a decorator bag, tip and coupler, you can use a sandwich plastic bag with one end of the bag cut into a small opening. Pipe out border around the cake and add your message. Now for the fun part, add your party favors and candy throughout the cake. If you have tall favors, you may want to place those in the middle. This cake does not need to be perfect and you can add whatever candies or favors that you desire. After all, this is a crazy and fun cake.
