Prep Time 15 minutes Cook Time 30-60 minutes

I love these Decorated Marshmallow Pops Laura's Little Party added to our site in her Hoppy Easter Party.

If you'd like to make them, they are easy and fun.

Also, if you want to give them as gifts this Easter, these editable Easter gift tags are also available for free to dress them up.

What you'll need

  • Marshmallows
  • Lollipop sticks
  • 1 bag of candy melts, chocolate chips, or white chocolate chips
  • Sprinkles, colored sugars, or other edible decorations
  • Optional: Small plastic gift bags
  • Optional: Decorative ribbons
  • Optional: Gift tags (see link for printable tags below)
Helpful Tip:

Use different sizes, shapes, or flavors of marshmallows, coatings, and sprinkles to offer some fun variety for your guests!

How to make it

  1. Put marshmallows on top of the lollipop sticks.  You can place them in the freezer for a few minutes so the sticks will be more secure.

  2. Empty a bag of colored candy melts (or chips) into a bowl and cook on "high" in the microwave, stirring at 30 second intervals, until smooth.

  3. Dip the marshmallows into the melted candy melts, either the entire marshmallow or half of it, and tap off any excess coating.

  4. Easter marshmallow pops

Now it's time for the sprinkles!  There are so many cute Easter sprinkles and you can sprinkle on the smaller jimmies and candies or place on the larger ones, like the dots on the pops in the photo.  Chopped nuts on chocolate, or colored sugars on white chocolate, also work well.

  5. After decorating with your favorite sprinkles, place them (marshmallow side up!) in a glass jar and put them in the refrigerator to set for about a half hour.

To give as gifts, put the marshmallow-covered ends in a plastic gift bag and tie closed with a pretty ribbon and gift tag!
