Flags, icing, and other cupcake toppers are wonderful for many occasions.
Yet, sometimes a more elegant design is called for.
These easy-to-make chocolate flourishes will delight your guests, no matter how sophisticated!
Print the attached PDF file, which is a template to create your chocolate flourishes.
Place waxed or parchment paper on top of your printed template.
Carefully melt chocolate or candy melts (any color you like) as directed.
Place your melted chocolate into a piping bag with a narrow, circle tip.
Trace the decorations onto the waxed paper. Feel free to move the template around to fit as many as you like onto your waxed paper. And make extras -- in case some break later on.
Allow chocolate flourishes to cool and harden.
Frost your cupcakes however you like. We used white frosting on chocolate cupcakes with white candy pearls.
Carefully place your chocolate flourishes on each cupcake, as shown.
