What you'll need
- 3 boxes of pre-mixed cake batter and required ingredients,
- 4 cans of pre-made vanilla icing
- food coloring
How to make it
Bake 3 tall 9x13 cakes from box mix.
Layer all three cakes.
Carve out shape of "bug" using scraps for fenders. Vanilla icing as glue.
Cover with pre-made icing. Allow to chill, recover for smooth white finish.
Using piping bag, add detail of car such as windshield and doors.
Using aluminum foil, shape a bumper for front and rear.
Print simple strip onto regular paper, along with the number 53. Add decorations where appropriate. Be sure to remove before cutting.
Add a antenna made from a skewer with the appropriate flag attached. In this case, Happy Birthday.
