Here is a way to make tiny little dreidels from a miniature marshmallow. So cute! Plus, they are so quick and simple to make, they are a perfect treat for your children to help make!
To make the handles for your dreidel, break off 3/4 inch pieces of the uncoated part of a Pocky cookie (available in the Asian section of your supermarket), pretzel, or other thin, round crackers, cookies or candy.
Insert the "handles" into the center of the mini marshmallows.
Dip your finger into some water, and wipe the water on the outside circular part of the marshmallows (not on the flat ends).
Pour a small amount of the blue sugar into a little plate or bowl. Roll the wet sides of the marshmallow in the blue sugar, or pour the sugar onto the damp marshmallow with a teaspoon, until well-coated.
Spread a dab or white frosting onto the flat, uncoated part of the marshmallow.
Stick a white chocolate chip onto the frosting. In just a few minutes, you'll have lots of cute, little dreidels -- and they're delicious! Happy Hanukkah!
