With all their fiber-filled goodness, oats are a breakfast superstar. In summer, though, a steaming bowl of oatmeal can seem, well, too steamy. For a cool alternative, try this version of the classic Swiss cereal muesli. Instead of adding hot water, you use a blender and yogurt to soften the oats, then serve with berries for a delicious breakfast treat.
In a blender, combine the yogurt, oats, nuts, flaxseed meal, and maple syrup or honey.
Blend until the oats and nuts are in small pieces (about 30 seconds), then divide the muesli among three bowls and top with the berries. Or blend 1/2 cup of berries with the muesli and garnish with the rest.
