You may not have time to knit a real sweater, but you can easily whip up one of these. The foundation of this recipe is the versatile dough that can be customized to create chocolate, colored, striped, or marbleized cookies.
Instead of rolling out your dough on a floured surface, roll it out between waxed paper. The cookies will stay moist because extra flour is not incorporated during the rolling process.
Cut out the sweaters from the rolled-out cookie dough. Using an aspic cutter, cut out and remove a shape from the sweater. Cut out the shape from another color and transfer it to the sweater. Tap it into the place, sealing the seams. Bake as directed.
