What you'll need
- 2 box cake mixes
- eggs
- oil
- 2-3 containers of icing (or make your favorite recipe)
- Sprinkles (Wilton makes large sprinkles)
- 12" cardboard cake circle (found at bakery supply stores)
- 12" Styrofoam cake form (find at bakery supply stores)
- 10" Styrofoam cake form
- construction paper
- hot glue gun
How to make it
Prepare cakes mixes per box directions. Bake 2- 12" round cakes. Cool completely. Place 1 layer on Cardboard cake circle and put icing between layers with serrated knife trim off edges to round off the cake top. Use whatever color icing you like and lots of it to give the cupcake some yummy looking swoops than top with sprinkles. Set aside.
Glue Styrofoam circles together, centering the 10" on the 12". Cut 2" strips of paper and fold each strip in half. Glue at fold to Styrofoam closely together to resemble cupcake liner. Place decorated cake on top of "Cupcake" stand.
