What you'll need
- Favorite box cake mix enough to make 24 cupcakes
- 1/2 cup shortening
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 4 cups sifted powder sugar
- 2 tablespoon water
How to make it
Bake 24 Cupcakes following box directions
mix frosting: cream butter and shortening with mixer. Add vanilla gradually add sugar one cup at a time, beating well on medium speed. Scrape side and bottom of bowl. When all sugar has been mixed in icing will appear dry. Add water and beat at medium speed until light and fluffy
Reserve 1 cup white frosting, color half frosting green and the other half blue. take 1-11/2 cup green frosting and deepening the color slightly.
Frost 12 cup cakes using large 6B star tip with blue frosting line them up as close as you can. Frost the remaining 12 cupcakes with the same stare tip green also line them up butting them up to the blue. there should be 6 cupcakes long and 4 cupcakes tall
use a large 12 round tip to put fluffy clouds on the blue. write out the child name to look like the clouds formed the name
using the deeper green and a 199 open star tip add grass onto the green cupcakes. add some little whit flowers to make more detail
