Delicious turkey sliders give the 'ol beef burger a run for their money. Seasoned with garlic and cilantro and topped with spicy chipotle mayo, these burgers will have your guests screaming for more. Mine did!

What you'll need

  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 of one chipotle in adobo sauce, finely chopped
  • 1 pound lean ground turkey meat
  • 1 tablespoon cilantro, finely chopped
  • 1 small garlic clove, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 6 mini hamburger buns
Helpful Tip:

Top burgers with peppery Jack cheese.

Want to keep your burgers from shrinking on the grill? Make an indent in the center of each burger with your thumb.

Servings: 6

How to make it

  1. Preheat your outdoor grill or non-stick grill pan over medium heat.

  2. In a small bowl combine mayonnaise and chipotle in adobo. Mix well. Cover and refrigerate while you make your sliders.

  3. In a large bowl, combine turkey, cilantro, garlic, salt and pepper. Mix with hands until just combined.  Using about 1/4 cup of meat each, form turkey mixture into 6 small sliders. Place sliders on grill or grill pan. Cook sliders about 4 minutes on each side or until meat is no longer pink inside.

  4. Place on buns and top with mayo.
